I am Irina, a mum to a four-year-old boy with a newly discovered passion for crabbing (that’s what kids do to you, hey?). After 13 years in London I was finally persuaded by my husband to de-clutter our house and start a simpler life by the sea in Whitstable.
In my “previous life” in London I consulted brand managers and editors on how to ride the high seas of social media and had an unhealthy interest in fashion and shopping (how many black dresses does one woman need?). Instead I now spend hours lurking in the murky cold water with my son.
I am embarking on a journey to link up with mumtrepreneurs, independent shops, bloggers and aspiring copywriters to tell great stories about healthy eating, sustainability and social businesses that would benefit local community on a regional (East Kent) and national level.
Starting this Sunday follow me on Twitter (@Irina_Higginson), Google+ (+Irina Higginson) or check my profile on Linkedin.
Off we go then
Great to meet you today Irina at the SureStart Kids gardening club. Onwards and upwards, but don’t forget the wellies.
Thanks Lewis! It was a pleasure to meet you too. I couldn’t agree more about the wellies. It’s now the 2nd time this happened to me?!
Lovely to check out the blog of another Whitstable lover!
Thanks Maggie! I’ve been very fortunate to meet some very talented people here. Lots of exciting stories to share soon!
